Angie is THE BEST!
1) personable. I haven’t been in in over a month, remembers my dog, what I eat.... never told her about my dog. (I live next door to the restaurant).
2) the times I have gone in when it’s busy, she greets everyone with a warm hello.
3) she takes time to explain or offer seasoning (someone like me needs that)
4) GIVE ANGIE A RAISE!!!!
This location was having a rough time when I visited last. The toaster and pop machine were both out of order, but the food was good. The only thing they had to drink was tea. Great location. Friendly staff.
Absolutely love the woman who is always there. I think she's the manager? Very friendly and always cheerful and smiling. She can definitely brighten your day if you're having a rough one. Store is clean and the food is good.
Best subway ever! Angie is a crazy good she deserves employee of the decade. She remembers customers name, and sandwiches and manages to keep the line moving at a steady pace even with the line out the door. It should be mandatory for every subway employee to come watch her work for a whole day for training because she's that good.
This subway runs like a well oiled machine. The ladies that work here are very friendly. They greet each customer and work quickly at the same time. I went here while on jury duty and they got me in and out quickly despite there being a line of more than 20 people
I ordered from them on Postmates. For some reason, the veggie delite sandwich wasn't featured on the app menu so I ordered a tuna and just called in and changed my order. They were more than happy to do this. When the postmate delivered my sandwich, it turned out to be a plain tuna so I assume my order got mixed up with someone else's. I called and let them know what happened and the lady I spoke with on the phone asked where I was located and I told her I am at work only about 5 minutes away from their location. She said that her manager would deliver my sandwich to me immediately as they already had it made and I thanked her. I really appreciated that they were willing to bring me the correct sandwich I ordered free of charge. Excellent customer service!
UPDATE: Gave them another try today, and had to repeat my order to both clerks - they still got it wrong. Also, apparently, if you call in an order your phone call goes to the front of the line, with everyone waiting had to stand around while they took a phone order. But they're so friendly!!! --- please. I'd rather get my correct order in less than 30 minutes. I gave them a second fair shot, they screwed it up, again, and I'm never going back.
A friendly demeanor does not overcome sloooow service. Don't bother using the app, they will not prepare it beforehand - you'll have to wait in line, and wait for them to find your paperwork, and wait while they prepare your food - it actually takes longer to order from the app. The facial piercings and three-inch long dangling earlobes of one worker make me wish she wouldn't breath on my food for fear of some kind of contamination. Don't both showing up before 11:30, they are never ready despite "opening" in the morning. You'll have to stand there while they get out the ingredients.
Overall, a sloooow experience made worse by the constant chit-chat with customers. Friendly? Yes, but a complete waste of time. If you're lonely and need someone to talk to, they'll fill your time (and everyone else's) by learning your family and work history. If you want food in a timely fashion, go elsewhere.
There's another Subway just a few blocks away, with four employees and virtually zero waiting. Go there instead.
The service and food is great! But ever since covid they haven't been opening till 10am. I haven't eaten here in months because I want a breakfast sandwich but they aren't available. I find it weird when there are sooo many businesses around that would get their breakfast. That is why I left one star off. :( When can we get breakfast here again?
